Compliance Services Guide

Compare Motor-Carrier Compliance Help

A paid service can save time, but it does not transfer the carrier's responsibility to operate legally and maintain records. Start with the official requirement, then decide whether the administrative help is worth its total cost.

Common questions

Do I need a company to get operating authority?

Not necessarily. Carriers can use official registration systems directly. A paid service provides administrative help, not permission that is otherwise unavailable.

What is the New Entrant period?

FMCSA says new interstate motor carriers are monitored for an initial 18-month period and generally receive a safety audit within 12 months after beginning operations.

Can a service guarantee compliance?

Be skeptical of guarantees. The carrier remains responsible for safe operations, accurate records, and applicable filings.
